Welcome! This application was inspired as a HackNJIT 2017 project that received recognition by the students and faculty of our university, New Jersey Institute of Technology, or simply NJIT. Students and faculty can login using their UCID credentials and once signed in, can begin interacting with the various research that is happening within the university!

Our mission is to help raise awareness for the importance of research amongst the student body here at our university. We want to connect students to real-life opportunities so that they get a feel for what it would be like to work in their field of study. At the same time, we also want to assist faculty in connecting more with and reaching out to the student body in order to find the best candidate possible to help with their ongoing research!

As a student, you can:

- Edit your profile

- Upload a resume

- Browse through research opportunities, even by filtering them based on college, fields of study, or even a faculty UCID

- Show interest (apply) to opportunities with the click of a single button!

- Browse through your submitted applications and see individual application statuses

- Contact faculty for setting up an interview and/or other meetings!

As a faculty, you can:

- Edit your profile

- Create opportunities by specifying a name, description, requirements, and other important details

- Edit opportunities

- Browse through a list of student applications, all the while keeping an eye out for important aspects of an applicant, such as name, major, class standing, GPA, and current application status

- Accept, decline, and even contact them to schedule an interview or in-person or over-the-call meeting to find the best candidate to help with your research!
